There comes a point where we need to stop just pulling people out of the river. We need to go upstream and find out why they're falling in.

Meet June – Principal Consultant & Founder
Mission Statement
Empowering professionals and families, protecting children, and bridging cultures with education and awareness.
Founding Kind Ambition
Kind Ambition was founded to empower professionals and families, protect children, and bridge cultural gaps through education and awareness. Inspired by her Biblical values and General William Booth’s 1910 message "Others", June's commitment to safeguarding is unwavering.
Born in Ilford, Essex, and raised in both England and Ghana, June brings a rich cultural perspective to her work. With over 25 years of professional experience, she has supported families, adults, children, and young people. Her journey began in nursing and rest homes, followed by a successful career in financial services, then transitioning to working with children with additional needs in a primary school setting, supporting adults in drug and alcohol recovery and then supporting and safeguarding children, young people, and their families in the Wiltshire East Devizes area, Wiltshire South Salisbury, and now in the Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole (BCP) area.
June is a qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England (Registration No.SW143502), and currently supports the safeguarding of children and young people on the BCP Council children and young people’s assessment team. She currently sits on the anti-racist committee at Bournemouth University and works with their social work department.

Personal Life
June has lived, studied and worked in the south of England (Dorset and Wiltshire) for the past 30 years. She is a Christian and mother to 2 teenage daughters and a step-mother to 3 teenage daughters, and together with them, she lives in their blended family home in Dorset.

“Sharing your own personal story, that really hit deep. I guess because it sounds like it was traumatic. To gave experienced that and to come back to work and the way you pull out the positives was amazing.”

“I like the case studies and real life experiences, I learn from that. I think in future, it should be a whole day session, so we can explore the cases more.’
